Wood!

Early spring and only a few weeks before the real migration starts. Good time to restore the garden habitat and collect renewable energy. A big load of Alder was delivered last friday, should be enough for 3 winters. The price is very interesting if you do cutting and splitting yourself, and it is fun!
12 cubic meters is a lot, with 2 persons it took 5 hours to bring it to the garden
part of the temporary storage, the orange colour is typical for Alder
not near halfway..
last weekend I built a new house for Wren and Dunnock (3 full trailers with branches)
he likes recycling atmospheric carbon!
A large amount of Sea Trout was released in Lauwersmeer recently. The (re-)introduction is part of a bigger plan to restore surrounding rivers.
